Catering Assistant

Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in West Lothian, is currently looking to recruit a Catering Assistant on an ad hoc basis on a rate of £12.56/hour PAYE. This role will be based across various locations in West Lothian - typically Livingston, Bathgate and West Calder. Responsibilities: - Undertake food preparation, simple cooking, serving and clearing of food as part of a catering team. - Preparation of meals to be transported. - The use of electrical equipment. - Follow cleaning routine determined by supervisor. - Set up and clearing of dining areas. Essential Skills: - REHIS Elementary certificate required (This is not required prior to employment as training will be given upon commencing post) - Willingness to work a flexible work pattern including evenings and weekends - PVG certificate required Desirable Skills: - Previous catering experience preferred but not essential If you would like to hear more about this opportunity please get in touch.
