Commercial Manager

We are currently working with High End Fit Out & Refurbishment main contractor who have an impressive portfolio of hotels, private residences and commercial spaces projects which they have successfully delivered over the past 15 years. They are currently recruiting for a Commercial Manager to join their business to be responsible for a complex subcontractor package on a super prime residential project. This is a one of a kind project to be involved in (details can be discussed further upon application). As a Commercial Manager for this project we are looking for someone with strong grit, someone who can develop longstanding client relationships in pressured environments, and someone who wants to be involved in truly unique projects. As a Senior Surveyor / Commercial Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects, ensuring accurate cost management, and supporting the delivery of projects within budget and time constraints. You will lead on commercial strategies, provide mentoring to junior team members, and maintain strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of assigned projects. Prepare cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation. Conduct valuations, risk management, and financial reporting. Oversee subcontractor procurement and management. Ensure compliance with contract conditions and company policies. Provide advice on contractual matters and dispute resolution. Lead or support negotiations and final account settlements. Mentor and guide junior surveyors or commercial staff. Requirements: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g., JCT, NEC). Excellent numerical, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and commercial software.
