Sous Chef - Permanent

About the role: Duties: To help produce, monitor and maintain consistent food standards and quality across all areas. To have total accountability for the day to day running of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef. Achieving budgeted costs of food, GP, wastage and wages. Menu Development. Stock Control. Team management and training. Kitchen Cleanliness. Ordering through our selected suppliers. Compliance and safety, ensure all company policies and procedures are implemented and monitored About you: Someone who demonstrates our values of warm hospitality, innovation, eye for detail and craftsmanship in everything you do. Experience required: Minimum level 3 in food health and safety. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership skills. Working within budgets. The ability to cope under pressure, calmly and efficiently. A positive approach to menu planning and costing. Stocktaking Experience.
