Day-to-day of the role: Oversee daily café operations and ensure the café runs smoothly. Manage and schedule staff, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times. Train new staff members and provide ongoing training for existing staff. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to maintain high customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage inventory and order supplies as needed. Monitor café performance and report on financial targets, operational goals, and staff performance. Implement strategies to improve efficiency and increase revenue. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Duty Manager or similar managerial role in the hospitality industry. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work flexibly over a 7-day period. Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
