Job Description

As a Superintendent, you will oversee all aspects of a construction project, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes. You will serve as the primary point of contact between contractors, clients, and project stakeholders, managing the day-to-day operations to ensure timely and successful completion of the project. *Client Details* Our client is an established Chicago General Contractor that primarily focuses on hospitality & multifamily projects. Their projects range from $10M to $50M in value, focusing projects throughout the Chicagoland area. The company is experiencing consistent growth due to market growth and a diverse pipeline. *Description* * Manage day-to-day activities to meet project milestones and ultimately meet or beat project completion date. * Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to plans and specifications. * Has knowledge and experience with other trades scope of work. * Maintain daily and weekly logs of construction progress * Maintain job-site safety, health and cleanliness * Daily inspection of construction site to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other applicable regulations. * Identify the elements of project design and construction likely to produce issues and plan coordination problems prior to beginning construction of the project. * Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, subcontractors, and clients * Ensure project documentation and reports are complete * Attend all necessary job-site meetings, whether on-site or off-site * Manage the punch lists and close out of the project *Profile* * Minimum of 5 years of experience as a superintendent on multifamily projects * Advance knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods * Ability to generate and drive master schedule * Capacity to motivate, lead and boost morale of the teams * Team Player who takes responsibility for their actions / mistakes * Competent in conflict and crisis management * Knowledge and experience with Procore or similar software *Job Offer* * Competitive base salary dependent upon experience * Performance based Bonus potential * Fast Tracked career progression * Family Oriented Company * Vehicle Allowance Gas Card * Competitive Family Health Insurance Plans * Paid Maternity/Paternity leave * 401k plan with company contributions * Short term/Long term disability * Referral Bonus MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
