Travel Radiation Therapist - $2,519 per week in Richmond, VA

The role involves treating approximately 45-55 patients per day using two linear accelerators. The patient-to-staff ratio is 2 therapists per machine. The unit includes a team of 2 front desk staff, 2-3 nurses, 5 therapists, 2 dosimetrists, 2 physicists, 1 dietitian, 1 social worker, and 1 director. The equipment utilized includes 2 TrueBeam linear accelerators, 1 GE CT Sim, and an Elekta HDR Documentation system with ARIA. Scheduling is required Monday through Friday, starting at 7:30 AM, with an expected end time between 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM. The unit is highly rated for patient experience, with Press Ganey scores around 95%. The facility is accredited for radiation oncology and additional certifications. Advanced skills in DIBH procedures, VMAT, and SBRT are needed. The dress code requires Caribbean blue scrubs.
