Job Description Job Description Minimum 2 years surgical tech / operating room experience required. Surgical Technologist Needed in Syracuse, NY (13202) Job Details: Start Date: 11/22/2024 End Date: 1/30/2025 Shift: Evening shifts for the Downtown OR; 8-hour shifts or a mix of 8s and 12s, 80 hours biweekly Requirements: Must hold current certification and have a minimum of 3 years of recent OR experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center. Must have experience with ortho, general, ENT, vascular, and GYN cases. Preferred experience in teaching hospitals or acute care facilities of similar size to Upstate. Strong munication skills, clean professional history, and pre-employment health clearance required. This role is ideal for a seasoned Surgical Tech who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with expertise in general surgery and specialties such as orthopedics, neurosurgery, trauma, and vascular cases.
