Job Description Job Description Property Maintenance/Caretaker Assistant Cape George Colony Club is a private homeowner community with 600 lots, located in Port Townsend, WA. We are seeking a motivated and people-oriented part-time grounds and facilities maintenance assistant to work alongside our current Property Maintenance personnel. Caretaker Assistant will receive training in the maintenance of community facilities/systems, groundskeeping equipment, and more. Opportunity for advancement. Duties will include: • Maintaining the community buildings and park structures by painting, making minor aesthetic repairs, etc. • Mowing and weed whacking the parks and other community common areas • Utilize and help maintain the community equipment which includes motorized tools and vehicles • Provide general pool maintenance • Assist with community water system management M inimum Job Requirements: • High School Diploma/or equivalent • Valid WA State Driver’s License Qualification for coverage under Cape George’s vehicle insurance policy • Ability and willingness to perform physical labor including lifting (50 lbs.), shoveling, light construction—even in inclement weather. • Able to work independently and to organize workload in an efficient manner Starting wage: $21.00/hour W orkweek: 20 - 32 hours Paid Time Off: Washington State Sick Leave Background check and references prior to hire Company Description Cape George Colony Club is a privately owned waterfront homeowners association located on the western shores of the Quimper Peninsula in Washington State. We are about five miles outside of the beautiful Victorian Seaport of Port Townsend, nestled in Discovery Bay, overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The community has two miles of private shoreline, including a communal outdoor space with clubhouse, a marina, fitness center, workshop, and indoor pool.
