Apartment Maintenance Technician - Weekly Pay

Job Description Job Description We are seeking Experienced Lead Maintenance Technicians to join our growing Property Management team in the Salisbury, NC area Job Title: Experienced Lead Apartment Maintenance Technician Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm or 8:30am-5:30pm and NO on-call Pay Rate: $20 - 23/hr - PAID WEEKLY The Maintenance Lead Technician is the core of the community. They are responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the community; insuring a comfortable environment for residents, future residents, and team members. The Lead Maintenance Technician maintains accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, service requests (received and completed), expenditures, apartment make-ready status, work-in-progress, etc. Responsibilities as a Lead Tech: Possess strong experience in the following tasks: Plumbing - sink/shower/toilet repair, replacing fixtures, unclogging drains (snaking when applicable) Electrical - replacing fixtures and switches, knowledge of proper safety protocol, rewiring when applicable Carpentry - patching holes, replacing doors/locks, hanging cabinetry, light touch-up painting Appliances - help with the installation of W&D, stoves (when applicable), installing garbage disposals, small repairs Ensure all work orders and turns are completed in a timely manner based on priority Estimate time and extent of repairs and report back findings to the Maintenance Supervisor Perform routine preventive maintenance Responsible for the inventory, ordering, and delivery of all necessary supplies and equipment for the maintenance Apartment Lead Maintenance Technician Requirements: EPA - HVAC - CPO certification is preferred Minimum 2 years experience in property management- apartments, hotels or residential Must have personal hand tools and drill - bring to the site daily; do not leave at the property Must have reliable means of transportation - attendance and punctuality are imperative Ability to handle physical workload Deadline and detail-oriented Working Interviews with Weekly Paychecks *Equal Opportunity Employer *All employees subject to a background check Company Description Career Strategies, Inc. is an established, nationwide staffing firm celebrating our 35th year in business.
