The role We are currently seeking a Business Development Specialist to promote our event spaces at our campus in the dynamic city of Bari! In this role, your primary focus will be to expand our footprint in the region by promoting our event spaces, driving meaningful partnerships and activities, and orchestrating impactful events with our partners. Responsibilities Sales and business development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by actively engaging with potential clients and partners, conducting tours and presentations to showcase the benefits of our ecosystem. Space management and supplier supervision: Oversee daily operations, manage suppliers, ensure a top environment, and lead opening and closing procedures. Event coordination: Co-create engaging experiences and coordinate with the team for event readiness. Onboarding and tech guidance: Manage onboarding of new community members and visitors, including badge creation and tech support. Data management: Organize records, extract insights, and collaborate with the sales team for sales initiatives. Challenge resolution: Address daily issues with the Community Manager to foster a positive co-working environment. About you Experienced in hospitality events, sales, and the startup sector is a plus. Minimum one year of relevant experience. Knowledge of the Bari ecosystem and key local players. Customer-centric approach with excellent communication skills. Skilled public speaker and attentive listener. Versatile team player with strong organizational skills. Tech-savvy with proficiency in IT tools (G-Suite, Excel, Notion, etc.) and a commitment to learning. Passionate, curious, and proactive. Fluent in Italian and English (oral and written). Bari-based and able to reach the campus easily. Presence as a campus host is essential.
