Job Description

Do you consider yourself to be an excellent teacher with the skills and abilities to provide a sector leading standard of education in a Junior School setting? Robert Gordon’s College has an opportunity for an outstanding teacher to join our team of enthusiastic, proactive professionals in a fixed-term position from August 2025 through to the end of the school session on the 26th of June, 2026. The successful applicant will work in our state of the art Junior School alongside a range of specialist teachers. You will be working with highly motivated and able pupils so the highest standards of staff performance and professionalism are expected. Staff are expected to bring out the best in pupils academically, personally and socially. The success of our learning process at Robert Gordon’s College is due to the high expectations of responsive, caring and very able teachers. The ability to work with online and electronically based systems would be advantageous. Knowledge of working with Google Drive is also required although full training on the use of the College systems will be given as part of the successful candidate’s induction to the post, with ongoing training provided as part of best practice and continuous professional development. Applicants should be registered, or eligible for registration, with the GTCS and will be expected to contribute and assist with the co-curricular activities of the College and take a full part in School life.
