We’re looking for a hands-on, values-led Nursery Manager to guide our close-knit team and help us grow our next chapter. About Us Set in the heart of the Cotswolds, a small nursery with big values. Since 2009, our children have enjoyed meaningful experiences rooted in the natural world—learning through exploration, community, and connection. Our recent Ofsted visit reflects our commitment to a child-led, outdoor-focused curriculum, with strong backing from a supportive leadership team. The nursery offers 34 fully subscribed spaces, with capacity to grow, and sits beside the local village school with access to its own kitchen and cook. Your Role As Nursery Manager, you will: Lead and inspire a child-centred, dedicated team Ensure quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across the setting Embed outdoor learning and sustainability into everyday practice Build strong relationships with families and the local community Work closely with the wider Overbury Enterprises team, including estates and finance What We’re Looking For Essential: Minimum Level 5 in Early Years (Level 3 considered for strong leaders) Experience as a Nursery Manager or confident Deputy ready to step up Passion for nature-based learning and outdoor education Excellent leadership, communication and organisation skills A strong fit for a rural, community-led setting Desirable: Experience in independent or small nursery environments Interest or experience in eco-education, farm-to-fork or sustainability within EYFS What We Offer Competitive salary (based on experience) Potential on-site accommodation in a stunning countryside setting Supportive, values-led working culture Freedom to innovate, lead and shape the future of the nursery A true work-life balance, where wellbeing matters If you're inspired by the idea of leading a setting where children grow through curiosity, community, and connection with the natural world—we’d love to hear from you.
