Job Description
Seeking a Full time Diagnostic Radiologist for Sacramento/Mather location - Breast Imaging fellowship trained is preferred but will consider anyone who has or willing to be MQSA-certified. Hybrid work schedule. 2 days on site and 2 possible remote days pending VA approval 40-hour work week. Four 10-hour days. Ability to provide high quality care with a manageable caseload and flexible family friendly lifestyle. No nights, evenings, or weekends. Salary base near 400,000 with Total Compensation including incentives over $460-480k. Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment) up to $200K EDRP Authorized: Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply for incentive. Work Schedule: Tour is variable; 4 10-hour shifts per week for full-time Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME). Possibility of additional leave up to 1 week based on additional administrative duties. Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement) Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory CME: Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement (must be full-time with board certification) Malpractice: Free liability protection with tail coverage provided Contract: No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restrictions on moonlighting Breast Imaging Services : Screening and diagnostic 2D/3D mammography, breast ultrasound and breast MRI Interventional breast biopsy procedures including ultrasound and stereotactic and tomosynthesis-guided needle biopsies and wireless localizations. Hologic mammographic equipment including state of the art 3D tomosynthesis and upright tomo/stereotactic breast biopsy system, and ultrasound equipment.
