The VA Northern California Health Care System is seeking an Orthopedic Physician to join the Chico VA Outpatient Clinic as an office-based orthopedic surgeon. In this role, you will provide both invasive and non-invasive outpatient orthopedic care to scheduled and walk-in patients. Responsibilities include discussing the risks, benefits, and alternative treatment options with patients, obtaining informed consent, and performing procedures in line with policy and best practices. You will be accountable to the Chief of Orthopedics within the Surgical Services Department, ensuring the effective delivery of state-of-the-art orthopedic care, including consult and referral management, triage, and initiating referrals as clinically indicated.
