Job Description Job Description Minimum 1 years nursing experience required. Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel Med/Surg Step-Down RN for a 13-week assignment in Rome, NY. Rome, NY, is a historic city located in central New York, offering a blend of small-town charm and access to outdoor recreation. With nearby state parks, museums, and cultural attractions, Rome provides a great balance between work and leisure. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a step-down/telemetry setting. Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes in clinical status. Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. 1-2 years of recent step-down/telemetry experience required BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Experience with Paragon EMR and Pyxis preferred Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
