The Louis A Johnson Clarksburg VA Medical Center is looking for a Urologist to join our team. At the Clarksburg VA, our healthcare teams are deeply experienced and guided by the needs of Veterans, their families, and caregivers. Duties & Responsibilities: Practice the full scope of General Urology clinical care Develop patient treatment plans Provide on-call coverage Establish and support professional working relationships with clinical service providers within the medical center, outpatient clinics (OPC's) and the community-based outpatient clinics (CBOC's) Here are a few of the benefits of working at the Clarksburg VAMC: Excellent compensation – Based on your qualifications, you will receive an excellent base salary 280K-400K with biennial market pay raises & annual cost of living pay raises. Permanent Change of Station (Relocation Assistance): May be Authorized Sign-on incentive available – An incentive will be authorized for highly qualified applicants. Student Loan Forgiveness (EDRP) - Up to $200,000 in student loan reimbursement available – Up to $40,000 per year for up to 5 years Excellent daily work schedule – Monday thru Friday – 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Generous time away from practice – 26 days of annual leave, 13 annual sick days and 11 paid federal holidays Insurance – Federal health / vision / dental / term life / long-term care available Annual CME allowance with 5 days for attending CME events. $1,000 per year reimbursement (must be full-time with board certification) Malpractice Insurance – Free liability protection with tail coverage provided Retirement/Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) - Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K (TSP) with up to 5% in contributions by VA. Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of annual paid time offer per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME). Contract: No Physician Employment Contract. Contract BuyOut Program - This position may be eligible for the Physician contract buy out program, which authorizes VHA to buy out service contracts (Locum agreements, loan repayments, sign on bonus contracts, Physician-owned practices) in exchange for employment at certain rural or highly rural facilities for a period of obligated service (minimum 4 years).
