Neurology - Physician - Manhattan, NY

The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking full-time Neurologists to join its practices in Manhattan! This practice will be located on West 53nd Street and 8th Ave. Hell's Kitchen is a neighborhood that is considered to be bordered by 34th Street (or 41st Street) to the south, 59th Street to the north, Eighth Avenue to the east, and the Hudson River to the west. Hell's Kitchen has become an increasingly upscale neighborhood of affluent young professionals as well as residents from the "old days." Ninth Avenue is noted for its many ethnic restaurants. There are more restaurants and food carts and trucks on Tenth Avenue between 43rd and 47th Streets. Hell's Kitchen's side streets are mostly lined with trees. A newer park in Hell's Kitchen is the Hudson Park and Boulevard, which is part of the Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project. The 34th Street District is comprised of 31 busy blocks in the heart of Manhattan. It is a working district, with over 100,000 office workers coming in daily. It is a gateway to the city for visitors from New Jersey, Long Island, and the entire eastern seaboard. It is a magnet for tourists and fans of music and sports. In addition, of course, it is one of the greatest shopping districts in New York. Position Description: Work with a variety of specialties including cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, pain management, allergy, urology, radiology, and podiatry Serve a diverse population and live in a neighborhood with excellent school districts and easy access to Manhattan Support staff: Medical assistants and techs (lab, echo, radiology) Call schedule example: alternating call coverage within the same specialty No teaching, research, or administrative responsibilities Competitive salary and benefits offered including productivity bonuses, 6 weeks of paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and malpractice coverage EMR system: Epic Position Qualifications: Medical Degree from an Accredited University New York Medical License Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology Sleep Medicine Fellowship preferred Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve Compensation range from 220K to 260K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits) Salary Disclosure Information: Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.
