Job Description: - Provide comprehensive oncology nursing care to patients in a specialized surgical oncology unit. - Administer and monitor chemotherapy treatments and manage central lines. - Utilize various types of equipment including chemo, epidurals, and PCA pumps. - Maintain patient records and documentation using Meditech electronic medical records system. - Work collaboratively with a team comprising 6 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 3 Patient Care Techs on the night shift. - Ensure a positive and engaging environment for patients by exhibiting a positive attitude. - Adhere to unit guidelines and policies to maintain a high standard of care. - Participate in orientation and ongoing training as required. - Candidates with a positive demeanor and strong engagement in patient care are preferred.
