Pay Information $2,020 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year in Telemetry, inpatient only License: Current RN License eligible for licensure in Missouri Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, NIH Stroke Scale Certification (obtain before start) Must-Have: Determined, decisive, and flexible personality fit Job Description: - Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. - Maintain professional accountability for provision of patient care and confidentiality of patient information. - Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. - Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups, ensuring performance aligns with established guidelines of nursing practice. - Maintain the safety and rights of patients while performing duties consistent with mission and values. - Stand and walk most of the time on duty, meeting unit-specific physical demands. - Handle a significant amount of bending, stooping, as well as lifting and turning patients with assistance. - Exhibit flexibility to work differing schedules or shifts based on patient care requirements. - Operate tele, lift equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps; document in the EPIC electronic medical record system. - Work collaboratively to manage patients post-trauma, surgical interventions, and with medical comorbidities. - Ensure patient satisfaction as a top priority with a strong focus on safety and innovation.
