Job Description

Position: OB Hospitalist - Full-Time/Part-time/PRN Location: Rapid City, South Dakota Facility Overview: Level III NICU Approximately 167 monthly deliveries In-house Anesthesia MFM: 1 day per week on site & available for consults EMR: EPIC Residency -Obstetrics & Gynecology *NICVIEW camera system which allows parents to view their newborns 24/7 while they are receiving care in our NICU. The neonatal unit was named Claire’s place after Claire Mahaffey, born in 2008 after 26 weeks of gestation. Visitors to Monument Health Rapid City Hospital Women’s and Children’s Services will need to use a four-digit passcode to reach the Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Responsibilities (Location specific): OBHG Hospitalists are responsible for all unassigned patients and any Ob/Gyn emergencies. OBHG Hospitalists provide back up support to midwives and private practice physicians. Work Schedule: Full-Time: 5 or more 24-hour shifts per 28-day block Part-Time: 1 to 4 24-hour shifts per 28-day block Full Benefits Include: Medical, Vision, Dental, and Rx.
