Travel Electrophysiology Tech - $3,026 per week in Springfield, MO

Job Title: EP Tech Job Specialty: Radiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 4x10, 07:00-17:30 (1-2 "late" shifts per week) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, including EP/ablation experience License: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours Certifications: BLS from AHA only Must-Have: Experience scrubbing Electrophysiology cases, including devices and ablations Job Description: - Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in collaboration with Surgeons and Interventional Radiologists. - Manipulate angiography equipment, select and manipulate exposure factors on digital angiographic systems, and evaluate and process digital images. - Lift, move, and transport patients safely. - Provide pre and post-procedure patient care, if needed. - Clean and maintain equipment and supplies used in procedures. - Participate in the instruction and training of students and other technologists in special procedures. - Ability to adapt to stressful situations and effectively communicate with patients and team members. - Stand for up to six hours while wearing protective gear including a lead apron, mask, gown, glasses, and gloves. - Familiarity with the use of digital angiography equipment, interventional equipment, PACS, and computer systems. - Work collaboratively with other radiology staff, OR staff, and caregivers to maintain high standards of patient care. - Responsible for duties consistent with the organization's mission and values. - Maintain a respectful and cooperative working environment, adjusting and accepting change as necessary.
