Job Description & Requirements Cardiovascular Non-Invasive Technologist - Echo Sonographer - (Cardiac - Echo - Sonography - Sono) StartDate: 6/16/2025 Available Shifts: 12 E Pay Rate: $1416.98 - $1552.65 Sono- Echo Cardiac Tech needed asap To provide quality patient care through the collection of specimens and performing non invasive cardiac testing Description - External To provide quality patient care through the collection of specimens and performing non invasive cardiac testing PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1 Draws blood and obtains other specimens and transports specimens to the Laboratory Introduces self and positively identifies the patient prior to specimen collection Instructs patients on proper specimen collection procedures 2 Performs non invasive cardiology testing (EKGs Holter Monitors and Stress Tests) according to department policy and procedure 3 Ensures that all applicable required Lab forms are obtained at the time of service 4 Researches unusual test requests using available resources including but not limited to the specimen collection manual 5 Documents necessary information in both hospital information systems or on department log sheets for test interpretation by ordering provider or for regulatory requirements 6 Completes Cardiac Test ordering and billing information as required 7 Informs co workers medical clinical staff laboratory staff and or Supervisor regarding changes in patient orders test requirements and workflow or technical issues 8 Wears appropriate PPE per department and hospital policy and procedure 9 Assists with the collection and transportation of blood and other applicable clinical specimens Provides assistance to nursing units regarding specimen collection and test requirements Required Qualifications Sonographer, Echo Experience: 2 years Certifications: RDCS-AE(Copy Needed); BLS(Copy Needed) SSN Required DOB Required Work History: Should not be more than 30 days of gap in entire work history References: 1 Reference in entire work history Facility Location From sweeping vistas of dancing dune grass to bustling fishing villages and salty sea breezes, Cape Cod is the ideal place for travelers who enjoy the natural wonders of the ocean.
