Actual pay rate dependent upon experience. $22.25 - $32.25 Position Highlights *This position requires the applicant has completed a Surgical Tech degree from an accredited school, but has not taken boards to become certified as a Certified Surgical Tech yet.* You Belong at Avera Be part of a multidisciplinary team built with compassion and the goal of Moving Health Forward for you and our patients. Work where you matter. A Brief Overview Performs scrub duties and assists surgeons with procedures. What you will do Assists surgeons by handing required instruments during procedures without difficulty. Documents controls accurately and correctly from Steris DX and flash sterilization. Performs all suture and instrument counts without error. Stores products appropriately. Checks for outdated supplies, noting before opening on the back table. Selects product(s) for procedures. Orients new staff as assigned. Maintains turnover time within acceptable limits. Maintains awareness of safety hazards and use of equipment to prevent damage or harm to personnel or patients.
