TMC Transportation has an immediate full-time opening for a Tarper working out of our office in Pompano Beach, FL PRIMARY FUNCTION: The primary function for a Tarper is to assist and secure tarps on pre-loaded trailers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Tarp pre-loaded trailers per customer requirement Run tarp machine Apply pre-protective covering to secure loads Other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma preferred Strong work history and ethic PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical requirements and work environment described are representative of those present while performing the essential functions of this job. Must have the ability to drive a commercial vehicle within short distances (less than 2 miles) from terminal location Ability to lift 80lbs Ability to climb on and off of truck trailers and loads
