Regional Account Manager – On Trade – South West Field Based Role - Location Devon & Bristol Salary of £28,000 - £38,000 (dependent on experience) 15% Bonus Company Car Pension A flexible, field-based role with autonomy to grow your region OUR CLIENT: Born from a passion for proper cider, this business was founded by someone who simply wanted to create something better—something worth sharing. The brand is already well-loved across the South West and is now gearing up for its next phase of growth—including a bigger push into the vibrant Bristol on-trade scene. ROLE OVERVIEW: As Regional Account Manager for the South West On Trade, you’ll be the face of the brand in pubs, bars, restaurants, and venues across Devon through to Bristol. You’ll inherit a solid base of loyal customers but will also be expected to identify, win, and nurture new business opportunities—particularly in underdeveloped areas like Bristol. Your focus will be on both growing availability in existing outlets and driving new listings in target venues. Many of your accounts will be independents, but some will be part of smaller regional groups—so you’ll need to balance personal touch with commercial savvy. Responsibilities include: Managing and developing existing On Trade customer relationships. Growing distribution and visibility across your territory. Identifying and winning new business in line with strategic goals. Building long-term partnerships with a mix of independents and small groups. Working closely with marketing and commercial teams to activate the brand in trade. Maintaining accurate records of customer activity and forecasting. Representing the business at industry events and customer tastings. REQUIREMENTS: This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes the drinks industry—ideally with experience in beers, wines or spirits. You might be looking for your first step into a field-based sales role or be further along in your journey and ready for a new challenge. Either way, what matters most is your drive, your ability to build relationships, and your belief in doing things the right way. We’re looking for someone who: Has a background in the drinks industry ideally - may consider food. Ideally has experience in the On Trade, either in sales or operationally. Is a natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills. Brings energy, positivity and a self-starting attitude. Is commercially savvy with the confidence to close a sale. Is happy on the road and comfortable working field-based. Lives within the South West region and holds a full UK driving licence. Sound like your kind of role?
