Bid Manager Manchester £65,000 - £70,000 Company Package Our client is a well established construction business based in Manchester and Yorkshire delivering high-quality student accommodation, contemporary residential apartments, and high end hotels across the North West and Yorkshire. The Opportunity: They are seeking a proactive and experienced Bid Manager to lead and manage the end-to-end bid process across our development pipeline. Working closely with the Business Development, Design, Commercial, and Delivery teams, you will play a key role in securing new opportunities and supporting our ambitious growth plans. Key Responsibilities: Lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of high-quality bids and tender responses for development and construction opportunities. Manage bid timelines, ensuring all contributions are delivered accurately and on time. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to gather technical, financial, and strategic content. Write and edit bid content, ensuring it is persuasive, compliant, and aligned with company objectives. Oversee the bid library, ensuring all content is up to date and reusable. Conduct post-bid reviews and support negotiation and handover to project teams. Requirements: Proven experience in bid or proposals management within property development, construction, or real estate sectors. Knowledge of student accommodation, residential or hospitality markets preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in MS Office; InDesign experience a plus.
