Senior Production Technician

Location: Prudhoe (near Newcastle upon Tyne) Hours of work: Full time (37.5 hours per week) with the option of overtime available. 8:30am – 4:30pm , Monday to Friday with flexibility to work overtime when occasionally required. As a Senior Technician, you'll: Assist the production team with the assembly and testing of the range of autonomous optics and SkyWall products Assemble and test intricate electro-mechanical camera systems in a clean room environment Conduct thorough debugging of systems and equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently Assist in the training of Junior Technicians, sharing knowledge on best practices and technical skills Assemble projectiles Pack nets Pack parachutes Re-build shot projectiles from testing and training Join outdoor field testing Assist with user training activities What we’re looking for: We’re on the hunt for a number of individuals with: A valid driving licence (to drive our vehicles on occasion) A demonstrable level of experience from a similar manufacturing settings Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical hand tools Good soldering skills Good wiring skills Excellent communication skills A positive and proactive attitude, highly collaborative and professional Strong team-workers with the ability to thrive in a small, closely-knit and dedicated team Detail orientated with excellent organisational skills A self-motivated mindset and the ability to work unsupervised Vision Help protect the territory and airspace of NATO countries and their allies.
