Temporary Support Worker - Young People (16-25) at Risk of Homelessness Frome £13-£14 per hour (depending on experience) Start Date: 22nd May Flexible Shifts | Short-Term Contract Are you passionate about making a difference in young people's lives? We're looking for a Temporary Support Worker to join a vital service in Frome, supporting young people aged 16-25 who are at risk of homelessness and taking their first steps toward independent living. About the Role: You'll be working within supported accommodation, helping young people to build essential life skills, maintain tenancies, and move towards greater independence. Key responsibilities include: Supporting with daily living tasks such as budgeting, cooking, and managing appointments Helping young people navigate challenges and access local services Building trusting, empowering relationships Promoting personal development, confidence, and well-beingWhat We're Looking For: Experience working with young people or in housing support (preferred) A proactive, patient, and non-judgemental approach Strong communication and boundary-setting skills A DBS registered on the Update Service is highly beneficial for a quick startWhat We Offer: Competitive pay - £13 to £14 per hour Opportunity to make a real impact in young lives Supportive team environment Quick start from 22nd MayBe the support they need as they take their first steps into independence.
