Job Description
Senior Quantity Surveyor – Commercial refurbishment – Central London We are currently working with a Main Contractor with proven success across the UK specialising across a variety of sectors including commercial offices for both developers and tenants; retail, leisure and hospitality facilities; education schemes; and residential schemes for both developers and private owners. Due to Extended growth, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Central London. Responsibilities * Cost Management & Budget Control: Take ownership of project budgets from inception to completion, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost reporting, and value engineering throughout the refurbishment lifecycle. * Procurement & Subcontractor Management: Lead the procurement process including preparing tender documentation, negotiating contracts, and managing subcontractor performance to ensure delivery aligns with project goals. * Contract Administration: Oversee all contract matters including preparation, negotiation, and administration of JCT/NEC contracts, ensuring compliance and timely resolution of contractual issues. * Change Control & Variations Management: Manage change processes, including valuation of variations, assessing cost implications, and maintaining clear documentation for audit and client approval. * Stakeholder Collaboration & Reporting: Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to provide clear, concise commercial updates and reports, supporting decision-making and fostering strong working relationships. Requirements Successful candidates must have proven 2 stage procurement experience Main Contractor experience is desired Successful candidates will have relevant degree level qualification Benefits £80,000 - £100,000 Benefits
