Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Surveyor with a strong background in internal fit-out projects to join our commercial team. You’ll be the commercial lead on fast-paced, design-led schemes, working from pre-construction through to handover. From high-end office spaces to residential refurbishments and hospitality interiors, you'll play a key role in delivering projects on time and on budget. Key Responsibilities * Manage all surveying duties on fit-out projects – including commercial strategy, procurement, and cost reporting * Take control of subcontractor procurement and contract negotiation * Lead the management of valuations, variations, change control, and final accounts * Provide accurate cost planning and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle * Ensure compliance with contract terms and proactively manage risk * Liaise closely with project managers, site teams, and design professionals to ensure smooth delivery * Mentor junior surveyors and contribute to continuous improvement within the commercial function What We’re Looking For * Experience as a Quantity or Senior Surveyor delivering internal fit-out projects (Cat A, Cat B, refurb, reconfigurations, etc.) * Proven track record working with a main contractor or specialist fit-out contractor * Strong understanding of relevant contracts (JCT, D&B, etc.) * Skilled in subcontractor procurement, cost control, and commercial reporting * Excellent negotiation and communication skills * Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar (MRICS a plus but not essential) * Able to work on multiple fast-paced projects with attention to detail and time management What’s on Offer * Opportunity to lead high-quality fit-out projects across diverse sectors * A collaborative, people-first company culture * Competitive salary travel allowance bonus * Strong career development pathway with real progression opportunities
