Job Title: Graduate Building Surveyor Location: London, UK Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About Us: We are a leading national construction consultancy renowned for delivering innovative and sustainable solutions across the property sector. We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate Building Surveyor to join the London office of a national consultancy. The Role: As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you will work closely with their experienced team to deliver a wide range of building surveying services across different sectors. You will gain hands-on experience in project management, technical due diligence, refurbishment, and maintenance schemes, and will assist in building surveys, feasibility studies, and design work. Key Responsibilities: Conduct building surveys, condition assessments, and defect analysis Assist in preparing reports, specifications, and contract documents Support project delivery from inception to completion across a range of sectors Provide professional advice on property and construction matters Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to deliver projects on time and within budget Assist with planning applications and building regulations submissions Support senior surveyors in providing expert advice on conservation and restoration projects Requirements: A degree in Building Surveying (RICS accredited) with a minimum 2:1 classification Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Commitment to completing your APC and achieving MRICS status A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential What We Offer: Competitive salary £25,000 - £30,000 DOE Structured APC support and mentorship Clear career progression pathway Exposure to a wide variety of projects and sectors Ongoing training and professional development Collaborative and supportive team environment Hybrid working arrangements (following probation) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship, Graduate Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year Benefits: Company pension Free or subsidised travel Private medical insurance Sick pay Schedule: Monday to Friday No weekends Education: Bachelor's (required) Work Location: In person
