Pay Information $2,527 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years Required License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Required Must-Have: Chest tube insertion assistance, management, and removal experience. Central line experience required. External/internal pacemaker and wound vac experience required. Description: Progressive Care Nurse for post-operative cardiac patients requiring monitoring. Accepts medical/surgical overflow. Orientation is conducted every other week on Thursday. The patient to nurse ratio is 4:1. Every other weekend is required. Travelers may be floated to meet facility needs with prior agreement. Requests for blocked schedules can be accommodated. Must comply with required vaccinations as per facility policy. Previous probationary actions on licenses will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Current employees of the facility are not eligible for travel contracts. Full file submission is required two weeks prior to start date. Modules are required to be completed prior to starting the position. Modules may vary by specialty and are non-billable.
