THE ROLE As Sports Store Technician, you will organize sports stores activities and equipment purchases according to established policies and regulations. You will place orders and tracks materials and supplies. You will prepare reports for supervisor, as required. You will maintain records of distribution accounts and obtains quotes for goods/products from suppliers and submits to supervisor for purchases. QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses High school diploma AND several years of experience in a related field OR An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered AND Valid Driver’s License (Province) Valid Forklift Operators certification, an asset Experience In issuing sports equipment In the preparation and maintenance of outdoor sports facilities In equipment maintenance/scheduling In loss prevention In inventory control In record keeping/invoicing In event planning Competencies Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership. This is a temporary position with an anticipated start date of June 2th 2025 and end date of August 29th 2025. PSP: Keep our Canadian Armed Forces operationally ready and their families and military community healthy as part of the team at Personnel Support Programs. Personnel Support Programs contributes to the operational readiness of our Canadian Armed Forces through the provision of fitness, sports, recreation and health promotion programs to military communities across Canada and members while on deployment.
