TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Albany, Georgia, 31701! Pay Information $2,002 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years of experience or 4 years of experience without travel assignment License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ASLS, NIHSS Must-Have: C-section experience required Description: Unit notes apply a strict 75-mile radius rule. Candidates will have an interview with a registered nurse from the staffing agency. Notes and profiles will be sent to the client and confirmed by the staffing office within 20 minutes. There is no second interview. The facility is a 483-bed main campus with a 124-bed north campus. Charge nurse presence is available on all units. The typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6. Nurse aides or OB techs are available, with a ratio generally of 1:8 to 1:10. Occasional 1:1 assignments and sitters may occur. Every other weekend is required. On-call is low for census. Holidays will rotate with permanent staff. Scrub color is Caribbean Blue. Telemetry is monitored on different units. Ventilation includes BIPAP and CPAP, used only at HS. The unit has access to pharmacy services 24/7. Shifts begin at 0645 for 12-hour durations. Floating may be required between units. Floor-specific orientation will be provided. Common diagnoses and types of patients will vary across areas. Candidates must be flexible with changing assignments during the shift. The local area has a population of approximately 80,000. Distance to major cities includes 175 miles to one and 88 miles to another. Cancellation policy requires notice 12 hours every two weeks. The charting system used is MEDITECH - 6.1. A BSN degree is not required. Trauma level knowledge is necessary.
