CTTC is seeking a dedicated candidate to work as a research engineer focusing on networked cloud research topics within the SaS research unit. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the SaS research unit, engaging in cutting-edge research and collaborating on a project related to 6G mobile networks. What do we offer? An indefinite contract for scientific and technical activities linked to the research project, with potential for continuation on other projects within the same research line based on funding. Annual gross salary based on candidate profile. Full-time contract: 7.5 hours/day with flexibility. Expected professional category: R1 / R2. Required qualifications: BSc in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Programming skills. Knowledge of cloud and/or networking technologies. Strong English communication skills. Valuable but not mandatory skills include: MSc or PhD in relevant fields, with points awarded accordingly. Experience with optimization algorithms, AI, and networking testbeds (SDN, NFV, MEC, etc.). Experience with cloud services, virtualization, mobile networks, Linux, and programming tools like Python.
