Area: Greater Vaalwater, Limpopo, South Africa Our About the Role: We are seeking a well-rounded and motivated Lodge Anchor to join our team at a boutique safari lodge near Vaalwater. This live-in position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic hospitality environment, taking initiative, and being hands-on in all areas of lodge operations. Key Responsibilities: Hosting guests and ensuring exceptional front-of-house service Coordinating daily lodge activities and schedules Assisting with stock control, housekeeping, and kitchen support Supervising staff and maintaining lodge standards Reporting to lodge management and acting as a stand-in during their absence Minimum Requirements: Matric certificate (Grade 12) Excellent communication and people skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to multitask and work under pressure Previous lodge, hospitality, or tourism experience is an advantage Valid drivers license preferred What We Offer: Live-in accommodation (rent-free) All on-duty meals provided Free Wi-Fi, electricity, and water Transport to and from Vaalwater (designated collection/drop-off point) Opportunity to live and work in a peaceful bushveld setting Valuable experience in the hospitality and eco-tourism industry Ideal Candidate Profile: Self-motivated and proactive Passionate about hospitality and guest experience Willing to assist across departments as needed Comfortable living and working in a remote location
