Area: Greater Vaalwater Area, Limpopo, South Africa About the Role: We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Field Guide to join our team at a privately owned lodge in the Greater Vaalwater area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified guide who loves nature, wildlife, and engaging with guests in a remote, scenic bushveld environment. Key Responsibilities: Conducting guided game drives and bush walks Educating guests on flora, fauna, and conservation Ensuring guest safety and comfort at all times Assisting with guest activities and lodge hosting as needed Reporting sightings and maintaining guiding records Ensuring vehicles and guiding equipment are clean and well-maintained Minimum Requirements: FGASA Level 1 (minimum) Higher levels a plus Valid SASSETA firearm competency (for guiding) Valid PDP and Drivers License First Aid Level 1 Matric Certificate (Grade 12) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong passion for nature, conservation, and guest interaction Ideal Candidate: A professional, enthusiastic, and guest-focused individual Able to work independently and as part of a small team Comfortable living in a remote bush setting Flexible, adaptable, and willing to assist across departments when required
