Create have been an established and revered caterer for an impressive 30 years. Originally started by industry stalwart Richard Groves, the business rebranded in September 1993 and Create was founded. In October 2019 the company was brought into CH&CO Catering Group, one of the UK’s leading hospitality businesses. We are incredibly proud of our legacy and, whilst a lot has changed over the past three decades, our core values remain the same. We are excited to be recruiting for a Head Chef for Create. Location: Central Production Unit Wimbledon, SW19 8UH Rate of Pay: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum Working Pattern: 5 over 7 although predominantly Monday - Friday 7am to 3pm Key Responsibilities: To prepare and oversee all preparation of food to the highest standard To produce food in a timely fashion to ensure smooth service to the customers To ensure that all appropriate ingredients are available for the menus To develop and plan menus that are in line with client and customer expectations To be creative when menu planning and including the client and customers Pride yourself on food quality and hygiene standard Overall responsibility for managing the kitchen team Provide feedback and coaching on performance To ensure that the kitchen team have completed up to date COSSH and Food Hygiene training Managing a team of 4 full time staff and up to 20 casual team members during events Our Ideal Candidate: We are looking for someone with experience managing 100,000 covers during events season Experienced in hospitality/event catering previous or current Head Chef Has managed a team previously What's in it for you?
