TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in Seattle, Washington, 98122! Pay Information $2,093 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in related field; chemotherapy certification preferred License: Active compact nursing license or state nursing license Certifications: OCN preferred; BLS; Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC); ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy required Must-Have: Previous perm employees must be separated from any affiliated facility for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. Unit does not accept first-time travelers. Average daily census is 100 visits per day, with 16 per registered nurse. Call and float requirements are mandatory. No weekend or holiday shifts required. Description: This role involves providing care to outpatients in medical oncology, specifically for solid tumors and palliative care. Responsibilities include reviewing treatment plans, utilizing electronic health record systems, and conducting telephone triage. The registered nurse will be involved in distress screening and may include port access among their duties. The unit requires strong communication skills and the ability to engage with patients effectively. All sensitive onboarding items must be completed promptly upon offer acceptance. The clinician should have reliable transportation and be aware of the local cost of living when securing accommodations.
