CTTC is seeking an interested candidate to work as a research engineer on networked cloud research topics within the SaS research unit. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the SaS research unit, engaging in cutting-edge research and collaborating on a project related to 6G mobile networks. What do we offer? Indefinite contract linked to the research project. Upon completion or funding cessation, you may join other projects in the same research line, subject to budget availability. Annual gross salary based on the candidate's profile. Full-time contract: 7.5 hours/day with flexibility. Expected professional category: R1 / R2. Qualifications and Experience We seek a motivated, enthusiastic individual aiming to enhance career prospects in both public and private sectors. Required qualifications / skills / experience: BSc in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (20 points). Programming skills (10 points). Cloud and/or networking knowledge (10 points). Strong English communication skills (5 points). Additional valuable but not mandatory skills include: MSc in related fields (10 points). PhD or equivalent experience (10 points). Experience with optimization algorithms and AI (20 points). Practical knowledge of networking testbeds, open source tools, programmable and virtual networking, cloud services, virtualization, mobile networks, Linux system administration, programming and data tools, and research project experience (various points).
