Exciting Opportunity: Assistant General Manager – Vibrant Restaurant in Borough Market Location: Borough Market, London Contract: Permanent, 48 hours per week (including one double shift), paid overtime Salary: £45,000 – £48,000 Reports to: General Manager The Opportunity Are you an experienced Restaurant Manager or Assistant General Manager ready to bring your energy, passion, and leadership to one of London's most iconic food destinations? The Assistant General manager will be working alongside a female-led kitchen team that champions creativity, sustainability, and a proud commitment to sourcing from UK suppliers and producers. What You'll Be Doing Supporting the General Manager and other AGM'S with the day-to-day running of a busy, seven-day operation Driving service standards and leading a passionate front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences Working closely with the kitchen to expand your product knowledge and promote seasonal produce as well an new and exotic ingredients Managing and assisting administrative duties including rotas, stock control, financial reporting, and HR processes Contributing to team culture, staff training, and personal development Taking part in regular supplier trips, tastings, and educational days across the UK and beyond About You You have proven experience in fast-paced, high-volume restaurants You're highly organised and operationally strong, with the ability to manage pressure during busy services You're genuinely passionate about food, drink, and hospitality – and either bring strong product knowledge or the enthusiasm to learn You're a confident communicator and natural leader who inspires and motivates your team You're excited about working with independent suppliers and showcasing British produce Why Join Us?
