Akasha Holistic & Wellbeing Spa, located within Hotel Café Royal , is a prestigious, award-winning spa in Central London. The spa features 6 treatment rooms, a Hammam, steam room, sauna, an 18-meter swimming pool, and a specialist Watsu pool. We also offer a gym and studio space for Pilates and yoga. Our luxurious facilities provide a range of treatments, including relaxing and deep tissue massages, body scrubs, full-body packages, and facials. Open daily from 7 am to 9 pm, Akasha caters to both hotel guests and external visitors, with two reception areas to welcome and assist them. We are seeking a friendly and organized Spa Receptionist to join our team and be the first point of contact for our guests. The Role: As a Spa Receptionist , you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for our guests from the moment they arrive. You will manage spa bookings, greet and assist guests, and provide information about our services and facilities, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and cared for. Key Responsibilities: Greet and welcome guests warmly at both the ground floor (external guests) and lower ground floor (hotel guests) reception areas, providing a professional and personalized service. Show guests around the spa, providing a tour of the facilities and explaining the different areas, treatments, and services available to enhance their experience. Manage spa reservations and appointments, ensuring accurate scheduling and efficient use of treatment rooms and facilities. Provide detailed information on spa treatments, packages, and facilities, answering any queries and promoting our services to enhance the guest experience. Process payments and manage guest accounts, ensuring accurate billing and handling transactions professionally. Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring it reflects the luxury and tranquility of the Akasha spa environment. Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing guest files, managing inventories of products and supplies, and coordinating with other spa team members. Monitor guest feedback and ensure any issues or requests are addressed promptly to provide a high standard of service. Collaborate with the spa team to ensure smooth operations, including coordinating treatment schedules and managing guest flow throughout the day. Participate in training sessions to enhance your knowledge of treatments, products, and services offered by Akasha. Actively upsell the spas curated, healthy F&B offering from Akashas specially curated food and beverage menu throughout the spa and relaxation zones. Ensure all food and beverage items are served promptly and presented elegantly, enhancing the overall guest experience. Requirements: Previous experience in a spa or hospitality reception role is preferred, but not essential; a passion for wellness and guest service is key. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and professional demeanor. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage bookings and schedules efficiently. Proficiency in using booking systems and software; experience with spa management software is an advantage. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as the spa operates 7 days a week from 7 am to 9 pm.
