Job Description Job Description Reports To: Logistics Supervisor Position Location: US Army Camp Parks Reserve Forces Training Area, Dublin, California Workdays/Time: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-4:30 pm, Occasional evening/weekend hours Hourly Wage: $29.85 per hour plus benefits Qualifications: • Must have a disability documented in writing by a physician licensed in the State of California as credentialed to diagnose and capable of diagnosing the specific disability, or a written certification of disability by a California State rehabilitation agency. • Strong working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, U.S. Army Property Book and Supply Management, is a plus. • Must pass a government security clearance upon application as well as subsequent criminal background checks and not be subject to revocation of facility access during the term of employment. • Must possess a valid California Driver’s license for the duration of employment. • Individuals in this job classification are required minimal physical strength (able to lift and move materials up to 20 pounds unassisted, and occasionally lift or move heavier items with the assistance of lifting devices or other workers) and the ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crawl up to 60 minutes, and climb on various types of ladders. Duties: Serves as the technical clerk within the following functional areas: property book operation and supply management support of Logistics Readiness Center (LRC). Performs property book accounting environment with the related functions associated with accurate property accountability in accordance with AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-2- 1, DA PAM 710-2-2, and other appropriate regulations, forms, and procedures pertaining to property accountability and supply management. To include and not limited to the following: • Establish and maintain property control records and accountability for Government owned serial numbered property which consist of document registers, installation property records, and document supporting files. • Assigns property to Primary Hand Receipt Holders (PHRH) using automated property hand receipts. Prepares inventory lists, assists Hand Receipt Holders as required in conducting inventories, and adjusts property records as required to ensure accuracy. Maintains a current master roster of hand receipts and Primary Hand Receipt Holders (PHRHs). • Verifies signature cards pre-signed by hand receipt holders for the appropriate hand receipt. Reviews transaction records and other supply documents to verify correct administrative data. Perform data searches and catalog queries in the GCSS-A to obtain correct data such as stock number, LIN, ERIC code etc. • Updates hand receipts when a hand receipt holder departs or when change documents are issued. Obtains facts and circumstances containing loss or damage to property and prepares Inventory Adjustment Reports, Cash Collection Vouchers, Statement of Charges, or directs individuals to submit Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL) paperwork. • Determines causes of inventory discrepancies by conducting research of all property management documents such as hand receipts, change documents, document registers, automated computer reports, purchase orders, turn-ins, lateral transfers, etc. Resolves problems or discrepancies with hand receipt holders or other responsible officials. Recognizes and corrects improper postings. Conduct semi-annual inventories. • Perform other administrative duties and tasks associated within the Logistics Readiness Center operation directed and assigned by management and as business dictates Training: Comprehensive training provided for all tasks assigned as well as certification on any equipment associated with daily work. Location: Work will be performed indoors at the US Army Camp Parks Reserve Forces Training Area in Dublin, CA.
