Physician Assistant (PA) - Cardiothoracic Surgery in Langhorne, PA

We are seeking a locums Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant to join a dynamic surgical team in Langhorne, PA. The PA will assist with a wide range of pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-operative responsibilities in a high-acuity hospital setting. Local providers are preferred. Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM plus on-call hours Weekend Requirement: Must be available at least one weekend per month Call: 1:3 call ratio; occasional weekday call coverage required Responsibilities: Perform pre-operative physical exams Diagnose and treat illnesses Order and interpret diagnostic tests Assist in cardiothoracic surgeries Conduct post-operative rounding and manage patient care Coordinate patient care plans Perform chest tube insertions and endoscopic retrievals Conduct suture removal and wound care Write prescriptions as needed Requirements: Active Pennsylvania PA license Board Certified Physician Assistant ACLS and BLS certifications required Must be local to the area Langhorne is a quaint suburban community located just outside Philadelphia, offering a perfect blend of small-town charm and convenient access to the city.
