It recently came under new ownership this Spring with many improvements set for the 2024 season. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional hospitality and top-notch amenities to our guests, ensuring memorable experiences for all who visit our park. Job Description: We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Campground Staff Members to join our team at Golden Acres Park for the 2024 season. This is an entry-level role, and candidates with a passion for hospitality and the outdoors are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities: Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures Assist in operating the snack shop onsite, selling general camping goods and snacks to the public. Maintain inventory levels and restock shelves as needed. Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, processing transactions accurately. Manage rental reservations for kayaks, paddleboards, canoes, and pontoon boats. Assist guests with rental inquiries, booking reservations, and providing information about rental equipment and safety guidelines. Ensure that rental equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition. Provide information about park amenities, activities, and local attractions. Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a courteous and professional manner. Ensure that common areas, campsites, and facilities are clean, tidy, and well-maintained including trash removal. Perform routine inspections of campground facilities and report any maintenance issues to management. Prepare campsites for guest arrivals by cleaning fire pits, picnic tables, and other amenities. Monitor campground activities to ensure compliance with park rules and regulations. Assist with organizing and hosting park events and activities, such as campfire gatherings, nature hikes, and games. Provide support to guests participating in recreational activities and ensure their safety and enjoyment. Provide assistance to other staff members and management as needed. Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude while working with coworkers and interacting with guests. Qualifications: No prior experience required; training will be provided. A passion for hospitality, the outdoors, and providing excellent customer service. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow in the role. Pay Hourly wage of $13 - $15 per hour, dependent on experience. Complimentary or discounted access to park amenities during off-duty hours.
