Job Description Job Description The Patient Coordinator This role is responsible for creating a welcoming environment while efficiently managing front desk operations, patient intake, and administrative tasks that support a smooth and positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities: Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival Check in patients and verify/updating personal, insurance, and medical information Collect copayments and outstanding balances Confirm insurance eligibility and enter data into the practice management system Answer and direct incoming phone calls, voicemails, and emails Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area Schedule and confirm appointments as needed Communicate effectively with the clinical and administrative team Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism Assist with daily administrative tasks and support other front office roles as needed
