Accounting Supervisor

Job Description Job Description Salary 90,000 - 110,000 We are looking for an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee the financial operations of commercial properties in Branchburg, New Jersey. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with supervisory experience who thrives in a collaborative environment. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency while contributing to the success of the accounting team. Responsibilities: • Supervise, mentor, and train a team of four accounting staff members, ensuring their growth and performance. • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for commercial properties. • Manage intercompany chargebacks, ensuring accuracy and proper allocation between properties or business units. • Maintain and oversee lease-related accounting activities, including deferred rent, concessions, prepayments, and chargebacks. • Collaborate with property management teams to develop and review annual budgets and forecasts. • Oversee lease reconciliation processes, including reviewing lease terms, addressing tenant inquiries, and resolving disputes. • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, applicable laws, and regulatory requirements. • Coordinate with property managers, asset managers, and other departments to deliver timely and accurate financial information. • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting operations. • Support accounting activities related to property acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancing efforts. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience.
