Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Position / Specialty – Speech and Language Pathologist Shift: 5x8 Hour Days (0700-1600, and 0800-1700), M-F, no weekends Years of experience REQ: 2 minimum experience in a hospital setting with pediatrics First-timers accepted: Yes Licensure: SLP BLS REQ: Yes Is on-call REQ? No Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No Open to accommodating block schedule? No Locals accepted: Yes Pending State License accepted: No RTO Restrictions: 6 Shifts allowed per 13 week assignment Special Requirements: Accredited SLP credential program; (includes masters) Experience in Pediatric population, 2 years pediatric outpatient experience, pediatric speech (swallow, speech, cognitive and voice) Summary of Major Function: Provides direct patient care. Organizes and conducts medically prescribed speech therapy programs to restore function. May perform other duties as assigned.
