Position Summary The Group Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a high-impact enterprise leadership role, reporting directly to the Group CFO and partnering closely with the Executive Committee, global business leaders, and regional finance heads. The role is responsible for designing, leading, and elevating the company’s global FP&A function—ensuring that it delivers forward-looking insight, planning rigor, and real-time visibility into business performance. The position will drive the group’s financial planning strategy, budgeting cadence, rolling forecasts, commercial analytics, and long-range scenario modeling. It will also act as the architect of the future-state FP&A operating model—spanning people, processes, systems, and data. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Financial Planning Lead the development and orchestration of the group’s strategic financial plans, annual budgets, and rolling forecasts. Build robust financial models to support strategic decision-making, capital investments, and long-range planning. Align planning outputs with the group’s business units, operational realities, and strategic priorities. 2. Performance Management Establish KPIs, scorecards, and dashboards that track business performance across regions and functions. Partner with business unit leaders to drive accountability for financial performance and identify areas for operational improvement. Deliver actionable insights into margin enhancement, cost efficiency, and working capital optimization. 3. Executive Reporting & Analytics Produce timely, accurate, and strategic reporting packages for the Group CFO, CEO, and Board. Translate complex data into clear insights and visual narratives that support enterprise-level decision-making. Support investor and board communications with financial storytelling and forecasting analysis. 4. Business Partnering Serve as the strategic finance business partner to global functions and regional CEOs. Provide commercial input into new product initiatives, geographic expansion, pricing strategy, and partnership models. Act as a thought partner on capital deployment, risk mitigation, and value creation. 5. FP&A Team & Capability Building Build and lead a high-performing FP&A team across corporate HQ and regional hubs. Design the global FP&A operating model, including shared services, centers of excellence, and planning systems. Drive talent development, capability building, and succession planning within the finance organization. 6. Systems, Data & Digital Enablement Oversee implementation and optimization of cloud-based FP&A and business performance tools (e.g., Anaplan, SAP Analytics, Oracle Cloud EPM). Champion finance automation, AI-enabled forecasting, and predictive analytics across the group. Ensure data governance, systems integration, and end-user adoption for planning and reporting processes. Candidate Profile Professional Experience Minimum 15 years of experience in FP&A, finance strategy, or corporate finance roles. Experience in large, multinational, and operationally complex environments—preferably in infrastructure, logistics, energy, or capital-intensive sectors. Proven track record of building or transforming FP&A organizations with a global footprint. Strong analytical and commercial acumen with advanced financial modeling and forecasting capabilities. Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder influence skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to operate at both 30,000 feet and granular detail. Familiar with global business models, shared services, and regional operating structures. Education & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Location & Mobility Role based at Global HQ in Asia (Singapore, Hong Kong, or Dubai preferred). Must be able to travel periodically across key international markets.
