Maintenance and Duty Manager

National Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Building Management, or similar. 5 years experience in a hotel or hospitality environment, with at least 2 years in a managerial/supervisory role. Strong knowledge of building systems, fire safety, and preventative maintenance protocols. Hands-on technical skills across multiple disciplines (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing). Excellent problem-solving and project management skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Familiarity with hotel maintenance software (e.g., Opera, HotSOS, or similar) is advantageous. Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field. 35 years experience in a hotel environment, with at least 12 years in a supervisory or management role. Strong knowledge of front office operations, guest relations, and hotel procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving abilities. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Proficiency in hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Protel, or similar).
